Capacitance Level Transmitter, Loop Powered, Digital Circuitry
The Delta Controls Model 173 Capacitance Level transmits a 4-20 mA direct current signal proportional to the level or volume in a vessel. Model 173 can be programmed for up to 10 fluid elevations to linearize the output signal in irregularly shaped tanks. 173 has built-in self-diagnostic. The potted electronics is capable of handling severe environments in most difficult services.
The 173 is easily calibrated using two levels in the tank. No need to fill or empty the vessel as the second known elevation is acquired by a simple level change.
