Delta Controls Mechanical target type flow switches

  • Most series 600 are used to monitor the flow of gases, chemicals, hydrocarbons, or water in services where a failure to switch properly could be serious or even catastrophic. e.g. fire water flow, safety shower and eye wash operation
  • Service: -40 to 450° F (-40 to 230° C) -15 to 5000 PSIG (-1 to +345 BAR)

SUMMARY OF MODELS AND STYLES
Model 622

Delta Controls Model 622 -- Inserted into 1½" to 60" (40 to 1500 mm) pipelines and ducts. Inserts through a welded on branch fitting pipeline tee or flange. Used in general purpose service for detecting loss of adequate flow, or for alarming excessive flow.

Delta Controls Model 621 – Inline body, general purpose for ½" to 8" (12 to 200mm) pipelines; full bore body mounts in pipeline; threaded, flanged or butt weld pipeline connections; for general purpose service; built to ANSI, ASME, and PED specs.

Delta Controls Model 623– For detecting flow in personel showers and eye wash stations. It also works well in low flow chemical and corrosive services; detects very low flows (<1 gpm) yet still has a modest drop at 50 times that flow rate.

 Delta Controls Model 624 – Negligible pressure drop at high velocities for 2" through 8" (50 to 200mm) pipelines; similar to 621, except target swings a full 90° and provides an unobstructed line bore.

Delta Controls Model 625 – Detects ultra low flows for 1/8" through 1" pipelines; for detection additives, oiling, purging, etc. low pressure drop at 35 times detected flow rate; field adjustable.

Delta Controls Model 633IF - Detects an interface as it moves down a pipeline
Delta Controls Model 633ED – Detects whether a pipeline is empty or full; Model 633AN determines what a pipline contains; gas, oil, water or a mixture. Trying to sense these conditions with a target or other type flow switch can give erroneous results, causing spills, process shutdowns, etc.
