Delta Controls has done work on a wide variety of facilities over the last 30 years. The plants include wet and dry processing, heavy type manufacturing, potable water, sludge disposal, mining, sulfur recovery, barges, ships, power plants, dams, nuclear, water wells, oil production, pipelines, machinery control, pilot plants, research labs, coal gassfiers, military, sewage treatment, and landfills.

Sensor/Control Design and Product Development

Delta Controls will undertake contracts to design and develop hardware and software that performs in accordance with detailed specifications. Manufacturing services are available. Delta Controls will also private brand it's proprietary designs, with or without modifications, for other companies and original equipment manufacturers.

Equipment can be provided to conform to International codes and meet the criteria for many third party agency approvals. These codes include ANSI, NEC, DIN, CSA, CENELEC, ASME, API, and NACE.

Delta Controls has its own in house software development team. Many proprietary code routines have been developed and are available for inclusion in new designs.

Delta Controls has the in house capability to test many parameters. These include hoseproof, submergible, and explosionproof housings, operating ambient temperatures, life cycle test under process conditions, precision distance targets to 300 meters; voltage pressure and temperature reference standards, etc.

Delta Controls has an in house capability for prototyping circuit boards, machining parts, first build operation, and lot yield.

Control Instrument Customization

1. Many difficult applications cannot be solved using standard commodity instrument equipment, Delta Controls designs equipment as necessary to get the needed results.
2. Delta Controls manufactures a wide variety of sensing and control instruments. We will also utilize components made by other manufacturers when needed to get the best answer for a difficult application.
3. Delta Controls actively solicits and pursues user needs for unusual or unavailable control and sensing equipment. Delta controls commonly modifies it's own controls or those made by other manufacturers so as to efficiently and economically handle difficult services and unusual applications.
4. Common customizations involve the need for: special materials, small sizes, unusual connection requirements, unavailable configurations, very high pressures (to 20,000 PSI); very high or very low temperatures (-460°F to +5,000°F); submergible housings; high radiation environments; hazardous areas; radio or digital network communication, corrosion resistant bodies and housings, and high vibration environments.
